Headlight Bulb Replacement

I'm trying to replace my headlight bulbs. I removed the 3 torx head screws and the little plastic screw that holds the rubber trim piece on but after that I'm stuck. I didn't think I was that slow! Any help would be appreciated.
TIA

PM me your email address and I will send you the page from the shop manual dealing with headlamp removal. It is a pain getting it out of there however.

You're almost there. You just have to grab both sides of the headlight assembly and give a good tug straight out. It will make a loud pop when it comes out but that is how you do it. It is a real PITA to change the bulbs though.

old thread, but PUT SOME MASKING TAPE over the fender part.

there are tabs on top that catch (hold glass to housing) and they catch on the sheet metal, and break off.

so hold lite assembly down some, protect fender, and pull HARd.

Sylvania SilverStar Ultras - pretty good!

I hate to resurrect old threads, but I just installed the new Silverstar Ultra's. They make a big difference over the regular silverstars. I had the regular silverstars on my Durango and wasn't that impressed with them. These Ultra's are no HID/Xenon, but the light is pretty white and bright. Taking out the headlights wasn't as big a deal as I thought. Just take out the 3 screws and yank hard. Be careful not to break the plastic alignment piece on the outside side. Also, it helps if you take out the two screws that hold the color matched bumper piece under the wheel well. You can pull it out and down out of the way when removing the bottom outside screw. eBay seemed to be the only place that had the ultras plus I got a $10 rebate.
