Head lights stay on too long after shut down HELP!
ok, so after I stop for the night and and shut the truck off "or" if I unlock the doors with the remote, the headlights stay on WAY to long. I'm sure there is some way to shorten this timer or just to shut this feature off completely. my owners manual grew legs and walked away so I'm hoping someone knows how to deal with this problem. I cant be the only one who doesnt like the headlights staying on for like "a minute" everytime you stop the truck. I know I can shut the lights off first , before the engine and the lights wont stay on but I can never remember to do this.
I just want this feature turned way down or off so I dont have to think about it everytime.
anyone know how??
thanks in advance

You're right, maybe newer ones you can adjust it with the over head but on my 06 you need to bring it to the dealer or have a BDTD to adjust that and a few other things.
