I know the Hankook get grate reviews here, but the hercules are cheaper...

I am mostly interested in quality, blow out resistance that is. Not so much performance or longevity although they probably go hand in hand.

What price did you get for the Hankook vs Hercules? Is there that much of a difference to chance quality and piece of mind?

I have the Hercules tires on my '03. So far I like them better then the Toyos I had. They seem to be a well built tire, real stiff side wall, got about 4000 miles so far and am happy with them...
