I wonder if I have a bad injector. Do you guys get smoke under moderate to heavy acceleration? I do keep the rpm's in check when on the freeway, setting the cruise @ 65mph or 2000rpm. Any slower than that in Socal and the Honda's run you over.

Yep. Seems ordinary. Mine's done that since day one.

Well 55 MPH may be boring but I sure get my best mileage (20+mpg) at that speed but then that is what the speed limit is on the state hwys in IA. Are you one of those who can't obey the 55 mph speed limit and drive 65+ on the state hwys and stay 2 feet off my back bumper

My millage almost always at 65 MPH on hightway but I would say I am 75-25 Higtway city driving so my 21.5 MPG is pretty good I would say.

PS : this is always empty truck.

I once got 24 mpg from Vegas to Dumont Dunes. I was following my friend in a Chev 1500 pulling a trailer, so he was going slow. All I had was a 400 lb atv in the back. I put it in neutral and coasted down the hills. Usually get 17-19.

I don't expect to see this again

I once had a tailwind of approximately 40mph for several hours and I got 32mpg! I would not have liked going in the opposite direction!
