Good luck to ya, you did the right thing. The baby is more important, you can always get another truck.

Youre gonna need the molding, will protect against door dings and shopping carts while you spend copious amounts of time at the grocery store. Congrats.

As much as I enjoy my truck, I couldn't justify it without a big old trailer to tow around.

Actually, on second thought, what would I replace it with? A 1/2 ton chevy gasser is my first thought. But I get as good/better MPGs, and I can't imagine the maintenance costs or insurance would be any lower on the gasser. My truck is far more capable. I guess if I had to sell the trailer or something I'd just stick with the truck I have now.

You did what you need to do! Hey, just get one later in life so you can come back to the "in" crowd . Good luck with the kid and there aint no shame in making mom happy, cause that makes you happy.... and puts you in good graces to get a new diesel.

I would like to say that this site was a lot of help to me and the members make it happen. I am curious as I move to my new vehicle if some that have moved the opposite way have any sites of similar use for chevy silverados as I just got an 05.
