Gen 2 cap on gen 3 box?
Will a cap from a 8" box gen2 fit a 8" box gen3?

Nope, I tried it on my short bed any way and the front of the 3rd gens are more rounded so the cap doesn't fit right it will leak and hang over the rear by about 1.5".
