Front end torque specs.?
Front end torque specs.?
Ok, now that my parts are showing up any one know where I can find the torque specs on all the front end bollts. I need axle, hubs, ball joint, and any other bolt on the front that need torqing down. Thanks
If no one has it for you Gino's has service manuals on CD with this info. I Have 06, if its the same for your 03 i will look it up for you and send info.
They are like 250 lbs or something like that.
Being I live on the road, I only put mine hand tight. Been that way 300k miles now.
That way if I have to replace a bearing there is nothing stopping me from replacing it.
Last summer I pulled the axles in the front diff and ran all summer with nothing in the bearing, lol.
Was wondering if a true spin front bearing kit would pay for itself. In my case I found out no. It only made a .14 mpg difference letting the whole works spin versus having it not spin. Put it all back together last fall. My bearings are still original, 325k miles. Grease em every 75k miles. Must be working.
