Have any of you guys replaced your factory fog lights in the bumper with driving lights? If so what make and part #. I would like to light up the road better.

You can also go to the local auto parts store and splice in the higher wattage sockets for a few $ less.

 

There is a lot of info on this site about converting a 9005 (high beam bulb) to fit into the fog light socket. Do a search for "9005."

Here is a thread detailing how to wire in a couple relays to fire the fogs and low beams whenever the high beams are on. This mod was done with 2004 wire colors. It is MUCH cheaper than the aftermarket products (i.e Fogzilla).

I have pics in my gallery on modifying 9005 bulbs to fit in 9006 sockets. Also a #114 o-ring is needed for the 9005 bulb.
