Fog Lights

Is there a way that the fog lights can stay on when the high beams are on instead of being shut off then coming on with the low beams. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanx

The Bully Dog Triple Dog will activate the fog lights to work with the high beams. Im not sure if any other programer will do it. I do believe the dealer has access with the Star Scan tool to be able to activate it also but I do know its ilegal to have them that way.

Why would it be illegal?

have a fog lamp out on the driver side, best place to get a replacement lens as it was destroyed by a rock? or is it possible to replace the fog lamps with something such as a piaa or other aftermarket light

Ebay... I got replacements for both sides and they came in Mopar Boxes... Spent about $25 each instead of the $120 each from Dodge...

also bought some 40mil thick self adhesive clear lexan covers... Went through 2.5 sets of fog lamps in first year of owning the truck.. not one nick after installing the lexan covers...

Well worth the few extra bucks!!!

My final plan for my fog lights is to disconnect the factory wires from the fog lights and run a separate circuit and switch so I can turn em on whenever I want (when the key is on). Does anybody know if I am going to get a light out indicator or do we even have one for the fog lights?

I don't remember getting a lamp out indication when I lost a fog lamp bulb.

At least in Pa., foglights can only be operated in conjunction with the low beams. This is part of the annual state vehicle inspection.

Check out the Brite Box products sold by Geno's Garage: http://www.genosgarage.com/products.asp?dept=9

I have the Fogzilla foglight bulb upgrade on my truck...worth every cent that it cost!! This works awesome...so much so that I rarely want to use my high beams. Brite Box has several solutions. I did see that they have a disclaimer stating this: "NOTE: Due to Canadian motor vehicle regulations, this product is not available to Canadian customers."

Thanks for the replies!!!! Makes me happy. Gonna do the wiring trick when I get back to my truck in January. It will be nice to be able to turn em on whenever I want to---even by themselves.
