First Time Diesel Owner
Well as of last Thursday I am the proud owner of a 03' 3500 Quadcab Laramie CTD. I have never owned a diesel before and the dealer couldn't believe how much I knew about the truck. I owe it all to everyone that participates here. I have learned so much in the last week and a half since discovering this site. The only complaint I have is that I emptied the piggy bank to nuy the truck and you guys have me so eager to start adding and modifying my new rig. ;D Keep up the good work everyone and thanks so much for posting such great topics, it sure has helped me decide what to buy.

Welcome to the fold.
You'll learn more neat stuff around here as you progress and grow old with your Cummins.
Now, those extra mortgage payments you were going to make...go out to your truck and decide where to spend it!

It does not amaze me how much you or any owner knows about theses trucks. What does amaze me is how little the dealers know. You would think the sales rep would be the most knowledgable guy on the planet about his product. But, in my experience, most don't know a Hemi from a CTD.
Very early this year a thread was posted about some fool salesman telling a Forum member that the difference between the HO and SO was the SO had no turbo.
Thats the kind of fools the customer has to deal with.
