It all started one day while driving my 2003 Ram 1500 4.7 (gas) back to work (out of state) on Dec 3rd and I pulled into the dodge dealership. Of course I was promptly greated and I said Im interested in a 2500 series with a diesel. Well they didnt have the color I wanted (see signature) but I test drove a white one. As soon as I started the engine,,, I was hooked, but played hard to get. My sales person was a female and when we got to the street from leaving the dealership (she still didnt have her seatbelt on) she said dont be shy drive it like it was (she didnt get the word "yours" out when I said hang on) and nailed it in a right hand turn. When the turbo spooled and the tires spun I swallowed the hook. I think however the sales lady "pooped" Anyway they delivered my truck the next day and after just having gone over 2500 miles today, the truck seems to have settled into a nice riding pleasure. I seem to be getting good milage but cant really judge because its only 5 miles to work and back to hotel. I have done three 108 mile trips (one way) back home but havent done any serious calculations yet. All I know is I love this truck. Lots of compliments and looks going down the road. Just wanted to share this with you all.

 

Congrats! your mileage will increase with more miles. my truck was getting less than 12 when i first bought it and now on the freeway i get 18.8mpg hand calculated. Post some pics! I love that color too. mine is the same color
