Smile Finally got some service!!!

After having quite a few problems with my 06 dodge and not being able to get them to fix stuff at the service dept. i took some advice from several people on here and got ahold of the service dept. manager and finally got my truck fixed. Here were the problems i had, some of them dragging on for almost a year that are beleived to be fixed finally:
1. Antifreeze leaking (has been for 6 months) dealer kept saying could not find anything, i finally fixed this one myself this last weekend after following the antifreeze up to a couple of hose clamps that needed to be tightened.
2. Driver side door has rattled since day one (complained about it 3 times while at dealer-nothing done). They adjusted the door striker which has appeared to solve the problem.
3. Truck only starts about 60% of the time hot/cold doesn't seem to matter, have had 3 reflashes now hopefully this one does it (they claim this has been solving all of the 06 starting issues) time will tell. I will say though it was -15 over night here, truck sat out at the dealer as i couldn't get their in time to pick it up yesterday and -5 still at 9 am when i did pick it up and it fired right up .
4. Whistling/hissing sound coming from engine on acceleration/tightened all intake clamps, pipe to hose intake loose, no more noise
5. Right blinker was coming on sometimes when left blinker was on as you make a left turn, replaced malfunction switch, seems to have fixed.

Just wanted to let you guys know that if you are having problems getting stuff fixed go see your service manager, it seems to get s$%t done. Mine was very nice, helpful, and courteous and seemed to understand and take care of my concerns. Hopefully i won't have to see him any time soon, finally think i am getting all the bugs worked out of this one, at least it runs as opposed to my last 6.ohno ferd!!

I'd bet if you took the time to write a little note to the owner of the dealership about how the service manager was
very nice, helpful, and courteous and seemed to understand and take care of my concerns
it would really make the guy's day...

I'm sure people always complain when something wasn't just to their liking, but few bother to say anything when someone goes out of their way to do a good job for a customer...

Lucky me - the service writer was my salesman & the service manager is an old customer for many years. I really hope they stay at this dealership!

Glad to hear you got your truck up to the proper working order. All it takes is time, patience, and being persistent.
