Hey D45, What did you use to extend your tow hooks? Stock they seem pretty useless because they are buried in the bumper.

The snow started Wednesday night here in Post Falls, ID and didn't stop until Friday morning. We ended up with close to 3 feet. Where I work also has a location in Kellogg (more in the mountains) and they only got about 6 inches. Very weird weather system for this area. No problem getting around in the truck; however, my Toyota Matrix is an entirely different story, even with studded tires.

took the beast out in the snow today to grab some supplies before the next snow storm hits tonight, they are talking eight or more inches in our area, more south of seattle.
Still running the factory tires, and it handled like a dream. Ran 4X4 until I found some roads with no ice and snow, even ran in 2WD on the ice and snow until I got back into the hills. Even made it up my driveway which is fairly steep without bothering with chains(which I don't have yet anyway).

Got any of mine buried in the snow? Looks like it's coming down real good out there right now! Nothin here in Ohio. Just a little dusting...that's it.

I'm not too far from you '05 and I get tired brooming the snow off the truck so much lately! I'm still pleasantly surprised at how well the stock Michelins work in this stuff (4X4 of course) with just a bale of hay in the back. Starts easily even down to 13 deg the other day.
