Factory Tires
Factory Tires
I'm curious how many miles guys are getting out of their Factory BFG's???
I run a lot of gravel which is hard on tires but I'm only loaded 25-30% of the time. 20,000 GCVW when loaded generally.
What tire will give the most lie/value in a stock or near stock size?
By winter I will have to be into a new set of tires but I'm going to get all the life I can out of these stockers...

I've got about 40k miles on my factory BFG's, and they've got a good amount of life left... I'd say another 15-20k?
for stock size or one size up, I like the factory type Michelins for highway and BFG AT's if you want an all terrain tread

In my experience, the BFG Rugged Trails (OEM tires), E load range, while not very good at alot of things like mud and snow, have about the longest tire life I've seen.
I put a set on my company 2wd truck 2 years ago. Truck is always loaded with over 1000# in the bed, driving construction site every day, lots of tire spinning (2wd) and 65mi commute. They had over 40,000mi on them when I got a new truck and still had 50% tread.
