This isn't about my truck, and it's a little different so I need help.

It's an early 2004, no cat obviously, quad cab, long bed, 2wd dually. The exhaust is rotting away, and the input pipe broke off the muffler last night. The short piece of pipe that's in front of that is also split down the seam. He wants to put something that's quiet on it. He'd even take a stock replacement right now. What I'm not sure about, isthe SOP for replacing this exhaust. Are you guys with the 3.5" exhaust putting full 4" on, with a new down pipe? Can I find a Donaldson set up or would we have to cobble it together ourselves? Is the Silverline quiet?

 

Exhaust isn't under emmissions warranty is it? The truck has 64,000 on it.
