truck is an 04.5. - i replaced my fuel filter canister with a 2nd gen fuel filter canister- because the fass filter adapter plate, with the o-ring started leaking after a year- could not get it to stop (replaced parts-did not help)- so, i got a 2nd gen one, because that has the hole on the back to screw in a fitting-instead!!- fabbed a bracket-do to space. due to the bracket- my filter canister now sits a little higher and out from the engine and additional two inches. the black cable that runs over the top of the fuel filter canister is a little tight now. is that the throttle cable??

 

It is the throttle or the TV cable going down to the tranny.
