edelbrock IAS shocks

getting a lot of people telling me about the rancho 9000 shocks but before I buy them I really would not want to crawl under truck for adjustments. because I tow 2 different trailers 1st trailer is 11000lbs and 2nd is 3000lbs .alot of times the truck is empty.would like a non adjustable shock if possible . has any body tried these edelbrock shocks that can comment on them thanks

Do not get Edelbrock shocks. I had 4 of them in my 2000 Excursion, and 3 out of the 4 were leaking oil or blown a year later. The Rancho RS 9000's are great shocks. The only problem is the adjustment valves get stuck and can no longer be adjusted after about a year, unless you are constantly adjusting them.
I would go with Bilstein.

my bilsteins should be here on friday! in time for a weekend install. had to call a half a dozen places to find them in stock. most places said the rears were on back order until the middle of march!

I just installed Ranch 9000's. So far so good. The fronts look like they might be a pita to adjust....but I doubt I will ever need too. I have them set on 7 out of 9 on the dial due to the heavy front end (with Ranch Hand and Mile Marker Winch). My rears are set at 3 for now, but would be easy to get to and adjust up if I pull heavy.

I read that the Bilsteins are good but are on back order. I haven't really heard anything bad about the Rancho's so im going to give them a try.

Initial impressions are they help the truck take the curves much better and improve the ride some. I haven't played with the settings yet though.

Go with Bilstein!!! It took a month for 4 of mine to come in, but it was so much worth the wait!! I looked at Edelbrock too and everyone i talked to said the same thing = get Bilstein if you want the BEST shock ever made. So i did! Do it and you'll never look back.
