Dummy of the month

Went to a Patriots game a couple weeks ago,got the tickets short notice, found a babysitter and took the wife.Game was great, ended up seeing a guy I used to work with selling beer at a stand. He took care of us ,so the game ends and we get back to the truck.Mass exodus,so we take our time in the line of cars.Had a little brandy left and sat in line. These 2 kids come up to my wifes side and one says in a drunken slur, hey that thing got a hemi, I says you gotta be kiddin and proceeded to step on brake and rev while in drive. Tires start spinning and squealing, never tried to do a brake stand before,so it kinda surprised me. Out of the corner of my eye I see 2 patrolmen come rushing up and start screaming at me,so I says I am sorry and one says, your only sorry cause you got caught and I says yup your right! He kinda chuckled and told me if I did it again he would take me in.No chance I says.

Well I'll come clean! Last year wife and going out to get a bite to eat and stopped in a license check. They wanted to run my plates and we pulled into the parking lot at the intersection.Get out of car etc.Well while standing there having a RELAXED conversation with one of the cops, I have this habit of pulling out my 5 inch long or so lock blade knife I carry to cut hay strings etc.I pop it out of my pocket and started flipping it open and shut. Poor cops Eyes get WIDE and I said ****! Wife gave me this I CAN"T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT LOOK.I looked at him and said BAD HABIT! He agreed! Said I taught him a valuable lesson. All checked cleaned of course and I told him how embarresed I was and for him to stay safe and healthly.

along the same line... I'm running errands on a Saturday and come across a detour with a cop directing traffic and blocking the way I need to go. Because of where they blocked the road the traffic was all snarled up and pretty much all I can do is follow the detour then make a U-turn back and sit in traffic again to go back the way I came.

I've got to sit behind a couple of people arguing with the cop that they want to go through the detour and I'm getting impatient so I kinda spun my tires when I went through the detour and when I got to the end of the traffic about a quarter mile away I punched it and did a half donut to U-turn.

Sure enough when I get back to the detour the cop steps in front of my truck, stops me then proceeds to give me an earful of how HE didn't decide to detour traffic, HE doesn't need all this attitude from people and I've got no business driving like that. I was about to argue when I realized he was right... so when he said he ought to give me a ticket I just said I was sorry and he was right. It took the steam out of him and he let me go.

speeding ticket

I once got pulled over on the interstate, cop came up and told asked me why i was driving 89 in a 70. I told him ''sorry officer my truck has a horsepower leak'', my friend riding with me looked at me in disbelief, police officer says '' oh really? I'll be right back'' Well after he handed me the ticket he says ''here, your wallet is gonna have a leak when you go to pay this ticket.'' Some people just have no humor

I remember back (many years back) that my friend had a p/u and about 6 of us were in the back drinking beer while driving around. I decide to be the big kid and threw a can of beer (1/2 empty) towards this house that I knew was a cop. Within 10 minutes, we had 7 cruises surrounding us and blocking the road to the point where my friend needed to lock up the brakes to stop without hitting them. They just came out of NOWHERE it seemed. Upon all of us getting drank out of the back bed and questioned for 45 minutes all the while with their guns drawn, they did let us go.

Found out later that someone on the other side of town threw a BRICK through another cops window at his house while he was on duty and only his wife/kids were at home. The cops thought it was tied to that incedent (which it wasn't) so they jumped on the call from 'our' cops house who happened to be home and saw us drive by from his window and throw the can but thinking it was a brick or something.

STUPID as STUPID gets. Laughing at it now but needed to change undies while it was happening.

how's this for dumb??? we used to hang out at a few welect houses, where we got away with hatever we wanted to, terrorized parents. Well every now and then we would get bored..... sneak off the the house and call the police on ourselves and then when they show up, no more boredome--- kids runnin every which way ! One officer actually jumped out of his car one time and left it runnin, soooooooooo one of us snuck back on him and locked it, running keys in ignition. Needless to say the next tiem we pulled that stunt they showed up en force and caught a few of us

Since we're sharing cop stories. When I was in high school, I was driving 2 buddies rides home after football practice. We were going down a 30 mph road that had median dividers just for turn lanes. Well, I got behind some old guy driving 15-20 and he kept slowing down for the intersections. This went on for a mile or so. Finally, I passed the median and the old guy. Well we got about another mile and got pulled over. As the cop hands me the ticket he says "This ticket may save your life." My buddy in the back seat responses " Oh, brother, what a load of crap." Then the cop asks him for I.D., to which he tells him he didn't have any since he was a minor. (he was older than me). That comment cost us about another 10 minutes of safety sermon.
