short and sweat answer.... YES!!!
What a tard... i thinking more of the lines of rust and corrosion. I'm in the Coast Guard i can see what salt water does to metal when it IS built for the ocean...just take what you see on ships and x10 for something not built to drive through saltwater.

Maybe it's a POS and he's trading it in the next day? Unfortunately Carfax doesn't have a search app on youtube that links vehicle stupidity to their reports...

i would venture to say there is a LE member who could run the plate and we could send him a message that he is retarded lol
I freak out when I drive back home to Idaho and run thru Utah that seems to use a TON of salt mixed with that stupid mag chloride. first thing I do is hit the car wash and spend $40 hosing EVERYTHING down.

There is no G. There is no G. Repeat after me, THERE IS NO G!
Not right away IF you don't suck water up the intake or screw up any electrical connections. Long term, well, the dude better get fresh water and that truck sprayed down with something oily. I wouldn't do it though. Truck gets nasty enough when heading to the beach overnight without forcing saltwater through as many cracks and crevices as possible.
I wonder what insurance would think if while doing this stunt the truck gets rear ended by a wave runner

I don't know if anyone on here ever has been to Pismo Beach CA to drive/ride on the dunes. To get to the OHV riding area you have to drive though a "creek" that flows into the ocean from the dunes side. Depending on rain and the tides some times the creek is non-existant or it's impassible river. You have to cross it coming and going and we do it several times a year and just wash the underside of the truck when I get home. BTW, it is entertaining to watch people mob their trucks (or more likely their daddy's trucks) through five+ feet of fast flowing water.

If anybody hasn't seen it it's kinda cool to check out youtube.

This is a fairly normal winter time crossing when we have had rain.

This is more extreme than I've seen in my years of going there.
It's all worth it for some fun riding and camping!
