Pretty sure I sold my old truck (sad to see it go but needed a bigger back seat). The buyer wants me to fix the power door lock on the left rear. Quit working a couple of months ago. Can't seem to find a source for the part- anybody else had to fix one of these?

 

When mine quit it was because the wire running into the door was cut. Open the door, pull the boot back and inspect wires. I am sure that is your problem, somewhat common issue. It's worth looking if you haven't, easy fix.

 

yep check the wires in the door. i went through the trouble of half azz checking the wires then pulled the latch and actuator only to find they were fine and only hen did i discover the broken wires....mine were broken by where they come out of the door not easy to spot

 

hummmm.....This could explain the intermitent problem I have with the electric windows......I can operate all the windows from the drivers side, passengers sometimes work and sometimes dont. Can't figure it out?
