What type of grease should I be putting on my door hinges. I think they have gotten dry and my driver side squeeks now. Or should i use an oil of some type. I don't want my hinges to wear out prematurely.

 

Lithium spray grease with the little red tube in the nozzle. Just a dab directly on the hinge pin is what I use. If you live or drive on a lot of unpaved roads, I think I would use one of the new dry lubricants instead though.

the above said grease works well, or you can use the dry graphite powder.

I used to use WD-40 but find the lithium spray works best and stays with the hinge longer. I have used it now for my last three Dodges and love it. I have a can around all the time.

Chain and Cable lube works pretty good as well.
