Door Hinges

I just bought a 93 Dodge cummins powered truck, and the bottom door hinge is breaking out around the bolts where it is bolted to the door, did Dodge have a fix for this or do you make up something on your own. Thanks

Re:Door Hinges

I have not heard of a TSB on this, but have heard it is fairly common.
The most common solution is to remove the door, fabricate a backing plate (pre-drilled) and use that to help the hinge mount strength.

Bob.

BTW TSB= Techincal service bulletin.
