Wow, that's great. I just made a pretty lengthy trip myself to the Memphis, TN area....and I was happy with my 19.00 mpg hand calculated run.

I was thinking the same thing....when MY fuel guage reads 1/2 full , it`s really more like 1/4 full

....I would be happy to get 400+ miles out of a full tank though

The big thing is speed. I ran empty to Maine (with all the other gears ect) and got like 15, towed 2 cars back on a trailer and got 14.9, but was doing 70 instead of 75. It's amazing how much wind resistance plays with mpg. Slow to 55, I bet you you could really get some millage. My best millage ever in my truck was 20.1 going to maine it was snowing, and traffic was 55-60, so yes MPH has a huge part of MPG

I don't get it, I'm getting over 470 miles for every tank hand calculated. I run stock, and empty mostly but I also have a lift and 35's on my mega. Avg 13mpg with trailer that's going from 15gallons + -

I get about 19mpg and about 620 miles per tank full for highway driving if I keep it at 67-69mph. on my 06 Mega Cab. If I go over 70mph then it drops down significantly. The sweet spot seems to be about 1800-1900 rpm cruising along without a load.
