Does basic 3/36 warranty covers car rental ?

Does basic 3/36 warranty covers car rental ?

Hi all -

Anybody knows if the truck has to spend whole day or more at the dealership for warranty repairs, do you get reimburse for car rental by DC ?

Short answer...."NO".

If you have extended warranty it may and if you are friendly with this dealer he/she 'Might" give you the courtesy of a loaner even without the extended warranty but sure it would depend on the severity of your problem that the truck is in for.

No, it's their way of telling you to "stay away... you don't want to come here".

And yeah, it'll stay for more than a day, try 3 or 4 and 2 trips back . I'm being a smarty here .

That's nice of DC ( and others for that sake). I am expecting the dealer to take few days to fix my AC when I get there (possible dash removal), I am making my monthly payments to them, so basicaly for the days in service I have to pay for using 2 cars - and all that is not my fault.

My extended warranty covers free rental car. I hve used it a few times. Almost more trouble than its worth, even though the Enterprise Rental is on property. Still takes all the time for paper work to get the vehicle and then the same paper work to turn it in.

yeah you guys should have seen yesterday when I was picking up my truck that isn't fixed.. There was a guy that came in to get an oil leak fixed before going on vacation and as he drove off the lot his A/C wasn't working.

He was livid.
