Does the AC work any better on the 07s?

I might pull the trigger on an 07 6.7 and am wondering if the AC works any better than on my 06? Marginal to poor is how i would rate the AC on my 06. Did dodge change anything in that department? Thanks

I had an issue with the air conditioner forming ice and freezing up so that no air was passing through the cooling fins. This only happened on days with high humidity and extended periods of use on max output. My dealer determined that the air conditioner was over charged and bled off some of the freon. Seems to be working fine now.

It's a big cab, but once it gets cooled down, my 06 AC will freeze you out of the cab on a 100 degree day.

I was concerned about this prior to purchasing my truck. We've only had 3 days so far above 90 but I will tell you even with my truck sitting out all day, it still cooled off in close to the same time as my QC. I think some people have a/c issues with the 06 and some don't.

2006 A/C fine.

You might have a problem with your A/C.
Mine worked excellent in New Mexico and Phoenix last summer.

My Jan 06 build megacab cools fine here in FL with 90 deg temps.
MANY mega cabs came from the factory with 1.14 instead of 1.41 lbs of freon in them. It's hard to get good help in Mexico these days. Sheeesh.

Mine works great and I live in Phx. Supposed to be 105 today and that is about where our summer heat starts at. Anything below that and it's a cool day. I keep a meat themometer in my vent and mine blows at 50* right at the vent all the time whether it's 80 or 115* outside.

BTW that is why I made sure I bought a truck that was made in MO. (USA)

They are definately weak compared to the Ford's...I would give them a marginally acceptable rating.

The A/C worked 10 times better in my 02 CTD. I'm not happy with the 06 A/C.

I think people think that the AC does not work as well as it does because it does not seem to be blowing as hard when in another vehicle such as my F250, or chevy 2500. both of which I have owned in the last two years. BUt I think it is a bit quieter system and it will cook the cab down in the same amount of time and eventually freeze you out. I apend alot of time between Kingman, bullhead and havasu and it was 110 yesterday driving to Needles and I had to turn it down.

check your recirculation door, we have some issues witht he door with low output from the vents, when you switch the mode wheel to the recirc. mode you should hear the blower get louder, if you dont and the discharge from the panel vents decreases than have your dealership check the recirc. door for inop.

my personal vehicle an '06 works perfect, i replaced the condenser due to road damage, recharged and is ice cold in south bay, cali. humid weather.
your dealership needs to work harder to fix this issue!
