Dodge dashes!
A few years ago I did a test with Armorall. Sprayed one side of the dash with Armorall and the other side with nothing. Parked in the sun and after a period of time the surface temp was hotter than hell with the Armorall, but the other side with nothing was just warm. After that I ditched the Armorall and went with 303 or nothing at all.

I haven't used it on my truck yet but, when I had an 86 Z-28 w/ the 100 yard black dash, I'd put vasalene on it once a month. It gets dirty after a few days but I'd just wipe it off. the dash was like new when I sold the car in 06. Just a thought.

Honestly, after seeing how thin the dash material is, our dashes are nowhere near the quality of an 86 chevy's dash. The dash on our trucks is less than 1/8" thick plastic; it's no wonder why they fall apart.
Thinner plastic also = less weight and less $. Thinner plastic is also harder to mold and the manufacturer will have a higher propensity for molding in stresses that only get relieved when an outside stress (UV or an impact...) are applied.
Protect the stuff from stress and that is the best thing you can do for such.
There is a a reason why Dodge is "lower priced".
There are some vecro strips under the mat to keep it in place. Even with my beanbag GPS mount on the mat it doesn't move.
Never can have 'enough' oil in the garage!
