my 06 is definately quieter than my buddies 04...but I get asked to turn off my truck at every drive through window so must only be quieter around engine compartment and inside cab because it is loud as crap

My '06 is a heck of a lot louder than our '05 at work...I mean there's no comparison...Different tone and different volume...
My only complaint is about interior color...The dark slate gray in my old truck didnt show anything but lint and dog hair....This new light gray crap shows every speck of dirt and coffee drip

traded my 04.5 vibrator for a 2006, love the 2006 .. much better ride quality and smooth, only thing that worries me is when i put my plow on I am going to have more sag in the front .06's have much softer shocks I dont need my kidney belt anymore, also I noticed the 06's front end is drooped down more than my 04 was and this is with the snow plow prep. I am going to have to install timbrens.. brighter headlight but have to figure out how i can run my lights and fogs at same time like i did on my 04..not sure if this is possible yet I havent tried..My 06 is quieter than my 04 but shes not broken in yet only 4,000 miles so far. once they break in cummins does get loud worst thing about it is at the drive tho.

Between my 04.5 and my 06. I can tell there is a big diff. in the steering. The 06 seems to be allot tighter when it comes to the steering. The dealer told me that they had changed some of the front end geometry on the 06. Hopefully it will help the death wobble problem. For the new improved door seals. They are probably a better desine as far as getting torn. But I think my 04.5 had less wind noise in the cab. One other noticable thing between the 2. Is there is no more 70-75 vibration in the 06.
