Diamond Eye muffler

I've had an ad in the classifieds for an original stock muffler, part#521216AA to replace the rusted one on my truck. I have not found one yet in good enough condition! So I was looking at the Diamond Eye replacement muffler, that is stainless steel, and supposed to be a direct fit. Anyone have experiance with just the replacement muffler? Is it a direct fit, how is the quality ect? Any input is appreciated.

I just cut my pipe and used a donaldson 51 in. muffler, better flow and still quiet, and cheaper than a stock new one.

The cost is around $160 shipped. I've never heard of the the FTE resonator? I posted the question, because I don't want a muffler that has a bad drone at speed.

I'm not sure how much a donaldson is but everyone says they work great which they most likely do, a FTE resonator is about $86 and a FTE muffler is about $ 110. The resonator made my truck MUCH quieter and without any drone. I don't think you can go wrong with the Donaldson or FTE. Both are better than stock.

I would be interested in knowing the condition of the muffler. It would have to be an un-molested original! I tried working a deal with another member, but his unit required extensive modifications, that I'm not willing to perform! If your unit has the correct listed part number and is original and undamaged, I'm interested. Feel free to PM, or answer my ad.

Just realized I posted the wrong part number for the stock 3rd gen muffler. The correct part number is 52121604 AA. If anyone can help with leads to a replacement, it would be helpful!
