Death Wobble / Alignment
Hey everyone -
My 05 3500 regular cab / DRW started death wobbling on Monday. So far, six times in two days. My truck already needs an alignment, as it chews through right front tires. What is the best caster angle in order to prevent DW.
Thanks
Ben

I don't know what the exact numbers are but everyone recommends max caster.
If your tires are worn unevenly I would replace them. Worn front tires caused DW on my 2500 mega. Put new Toyo MT's on and the DW went away.

How many miles are on your truck?? If you have over 50k I would look hard at the ball joints being bad. Any movement in them and anyother worn part will increase the chance of DW. I had my truck put to stock specs. This is after two years of DW.
