Actually haven't had a Jeep for several years. I've had a '76 CJ-5, a '48 CJ-2A, and an '80 CJ-7. The CJ-7 was the last one I had, and it was a 1-ton off road only Frankenstein.

My son is getting into Jeeping now, so I'm helping him build his YJ up. We've got 1-ton axles and a doubler ready to go in soon.

How did the trans issue work out?

ahhhh youre smart! lol I started with a 74 CJ 5 and had it forever (28 years) along with several other big jeeps but the scrambler suits what I now like to do best

New Torque Converter... **** they are expensive!! and i went with a dual clutch or disc or something converter which was even more.... But the trans is good and should last fine according to the trans guy....
