current rebates
You need to understand that the dealers giving $10k+ off do a lot of volume for Chrysler. They are selling for invoice (usually about $10k under sticker, or close to "what they paid for the truck") or below, and making the money on a "holdback", or reward that Chrysler gives them at the end of the year for selling a lot of vehicles. This is how Dave Smith and many others around the country do it. I got mine back in '03 for $11k under sticker from a local volume dealer. Don't settle for anything less.
(I realize this is an over-simplification, so don't flame me guys.)

If your in Michigan I'd go to Dave smith in Kellogg Idaho I just picked mine up two weeks ago I ordered 2008 3500 laramie and saved 10k off their msrp but saved 12k from my locale dealer quote and 15k from Fairbanks dealer 350miles from me.
Not sure exactly (like there's a webiste or something?), but here's a few clues I use:
1. They will do a lot of fleet sales (check out the contractor and public sector Dodge trucks in your area- what dealer emblem do they have on the tailgate/license plate frame?).
2. They advertise a lot in the media, hawking really low prices.
3. Request quotes online from Dodge.com from all the dealers in your area. Only about half or less will respond, but out of the ones that do a couple should stand out at $10k below sticker. Deal with those guys.
Or just buy a plane ticket to Spokane and enjoy your drive home. Odds are you will not find a better deal than Dave Smith offers. Others may come close, but you can be safe assured that Dave Smith will give you the lowest price possible on a new Dodge.

I was just there and they had a few 07's left with $5500 rebates and their discounted price I think I saw a Mega Cab, SLT, DRW, Auto, for about $12-$13K off of MSRP... I deal with KC in their corporate fleet sales department (even though Im not a fleet customer) LOL! He's a standup guy, and is really easy to talk/deal with. kck@usaautosales.com
They'll get you a plane ticket and a ride from the airport... then you get to break in your new truck on the drive home... (all my friends from Washington and Oregon come over here to buy a new truck or car and hang out with me for a day on their way home)
