coolant flush

going to do it soon! would like to know from the guys that have already done it. how many gallons of anti-freeze and distilled water do i need?? i do not want to buy the 50-50 mix stuff! thanks. rob

The service manual says +/- 29.5 quarts.

I'm assuming your coolant is 'pink', which is the DC 'HOAT' (Hybrid Organic Additive Technology) coolant. The manual says this is the recommended replacement coolant, mixed with 50% distilled water. Freeze point states it's -35F with this mixture.
