Question Computer Gremlins?

While pulling my toy hauler up the seirra's to go camping, the air conditioner began to blow hot air and I lost the cruise control. The next day I started up the CTD and both the tach and speedo gauge pegged to the right then settled down to normal.Since then the cruise and ac have never worked better. Are there gremlins at work?

Several things.....when at or near full throttle the ecm will disable a/c for more horsepower. As for the cruise.......need more info on the situation. Could be as simple as the brake switch, too low of speed, ect. Also there is a known problem of the wiring near the a/c pressure transducer rubbing through. It can cause several problems with a/c , cam and crank sensors, ect. That may be an issue too?
