what from an 08 truck would fit an 04?

would the seats be the same?

 

Seats are different , although they would likely bolt right in...they changed the interior in `06 , so some pieces will "fit" both trucks , most parts are slightly different.

Exterior ....the fenders ,headlights, front bumper ,grille ,and rear taillights are different. The bed , cab , doors , and hood are the same.

A buddy of mine just got a totalled 08 and was wondering if i "needed" anything. I thought hmmm seats? Im going to ge them and see if they will fit.

I was told passenger side of the body is pretty bad but interior and drive train are good.

 

The seats will bolt in but as mentioned above the seat belts are differant and the 08 belts wont just bolt into the older cab but can be made to work but then the trim will need to be painted to match the older cab. The cabs are not exactly thye same the air bag control is mounted differant as well as how the seat belts bolt in. The dash is completly differant but the air box and that stuff under the dash is the same.
