Ok guys so I am getting near the end of my extended warranty. What are some of the things I should take the truck in to have checked? And what are the symptoms for each of these items so I have a "reason" for them to check them out?

 

Take it in for transmission hunting gears. They'll drop the pan and replace the solenoids. If anything else is wrong in there, they should find it then.

 

If there is nothing wrong with it now I sure would not take it in unless you know the person that may work on it. I have a good friend that works at a dealership and he would not let most guys that work there touch his vehicle for any kind of work. They may screw something up looking for a problem that is not there and cost you in the long run.

 

Trade it in on a F$^d with a V10

 

X2 on that....time to sell and buy something new.

 

Nope. The truck is paid off. I am not about to get a new car payment simply because my warranty is coming up.
