Can someone tell me how to get the lighter removed because i tried with no luck. Thanks

 

I am interested in the same thing. I am wanting a place to mount a fuel psi gauge, and was wondering if you can remove the cig. lighter, and put the f. psi. gauge in its place. Of course you would need to make the hole a bit bigger. But has anyone ever done this??

 

remove the panal around the radio,cig lighter area get behind the lighter unplug the wirring you will see a few tabs holding it in,press those in and then force the lighter out of the dash.helps to put your finger right in the hole.I have had mine in and out many times for a quad switch.

 

that is where i put my switch for the quad, made a stainless collar to fit and locate the switch.
