Changing Headlight Bulbs

So, um.....how in the heckare the headlight bulbs changed out?

There is literally no room to even to get the sockets, or the bulbs!

Do I have to pull the headlamp assembly out or what?

Any input, info, or suggestions?

2 bolts in front, 1 nut in the wheel well behind a rubber gasket thingie, all 8 mm i believe, or maybe 10 mm, cant remember. undo all of them then take a wide screw driver wrapped in a rag and use it to pop the headlight assembly out by placing it between the fender and assemply and gently prying it out. carefull not to chip the paint.

For people with big hands. Yes..... It will literally take you less time then trying to fish around back there.

HEADLAMP UNIT
REMOVAL
(1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable.
(2) Remove the push pins attaching the seal to the
fender.
(3) Remove the bolts attaching the headlamp unit
to the fender (Fig. 11).

Takes less then 10 minutes total after you've done it once. Makes me wonder why I ever bothered fishing around behind the grill in the first place with any of my other vehicles. The wife's Pacifica is the same way.

And if it's cold outside you'll learn to do it in under 3 mins a side. LOL

The alignment should stay the same, but might change a touch with the new bulbs not being 100% the same as the old ones.

Thanks for the info guys!

I just finished and it took about 30 minutes, to swap out 4 bulbs: 2 headlights and 2 fog lights.

I swapped in PIAA bulbs and will have to wait another 3-4 hours to test them out in the dark.....
