CB Fender Antenna Mount for 06 Megacab

Hi - Looking for a CB antenna fender mount. I've seen them for prior hoods that seem flat where they meet the fender, but the newer hoods seem to lip over the fender. Ideas??

I'd like to see what you come up with also. I'm about to drill a hole in my roof for my 2 m radio antenna and would consider a fender mount.

Thanks for the ideas....I have actually looked at the walcottcb kit, but was told it wouldn't work because the hood on the 06 was different. Too bad I can't find one locally (the fender mount) to actually look at...was kind of hoping someone here already had one

I also saw a comment about drilling a hole in the roof - For the magnet type mounts - I've seen some go through the outside bed light. If I can find any links - I'll post 'em.

I have two fender mounts, one on each side. They are out there if you can find them, I just got them at a local C.B. radio shop at a truck stop. I will throw some picture to you soon there Pauly, don't drill that roof! with that 75 watt radio you have range is not a issue. There are some picture in my gallery although they are not the best, The fiberglass fenders shot and the engine stuff shot you can kinda get a feel for what they look like, I will get better one up for you ASAP

Excellent - nice to know that one of them does fit. I think I found the style I need. I'll try to post a pic and maybe you can confirm if that is the right style. Thanks again!

I used something similar, all firestick products didn't know about this kit.
Used the 4 screw holes not the fender bolt due to the bracket, works great.

Pics would be cool, thanks!

No problem with the mount and the glass fenders? My fenders go on next week.

No problems whatsoever. I use the fender bolts to hold both in anyway. Has hit plenty of tress, and other objects and it stays put.

A bad pic, I need to work on my picture taking skills, but you can get the idea with Fiberglass fenders.
