caliper rebuild time?????

caliper rebuild time?????

hi guys
ive been chasing a dragging rear brake issue for awhile now,first thought it was the ebrake,nope,then thought it was the sliderclips,nope i took her all apart today and im sure its the plugers not releasing,the plastic or rubber thats covers them is dmaged,is a rebuild kit available?do i just do the seals or is there more to it,i have never done any brake stuff so any help is greaaaaat thanx

If you have never done any brake stuff before then get the rebuilt or new calipers and slap them on. Brakes are not something to play around with. Also, do them in pairs or you will more then likely have an issue with the other side.

Calipers are under $100 per side and the pads are less than $50 a set, it's not owrth messing around with them.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Ditto on above comments. Replace both calipers with remans. Generally the kits cost nearly as much as reman calipers. Less work equals more play time. Adjust park brake while doing replace.
