Cab light replacement

I'm fixin to put Recon replacement cab lights on as the stockers have began the dreadful leaking. I haven't pulled any lights yet, but was wondering if there are connectors on the wires or will I have to cut the lines and rewire? Would like to know if it will take an hour or three and get the right parts from the basement without making a thousand trips. Thanx in advance and have a great weekend ya'll.

They are direct replacement for factory cab lights. Plug and play

What he said, i went to the local homedepot and bought some nylon/plastic washers to replace the rubber ones that started cracking within 2 months and letting moister into the lights.

Thanx to both of you. I was thinking about putting a spot of silicone where the screw/rubber connects to the cab. In theory, the LED's should not burn out, so there should not be a reason to ever take them off again. I figure that as long as I just put a dab on there, if I ever did have to remove them, it shouldn't be too difficult. Thanx again ya'll and have a great HOT weekend.

No problem bud. Id put some silicone around the edge of the lenses. Some get leaks without it.

Some advice:
Lightly rub a little grease on the bottom of the light before siliconing it. That's what I do if I do not want a permanent type of seal.

You can scrape it off the truck with a plastic scrapper if you ever need to remove it.

Does the Recon kit come with a template? I really want to install them. I don't have cab lights stock.....

The Recon kit does not have the template. Buy a set of cab lights from the dealer and it will include the template along with the wiring you are going to need.
