A/c
I know some of you yanks haven't fired up the A/C yet, but I was wondering how satisfied everyone is with how cold the A/C gets in your truck.
My new truck doesn't seem to get nearly as cold as my old F-250 did. I'm kinda concerned that I will be sweating my butt off soon when the temps hit 90 plus down here.

Old A/C systems had R-12 freon. The new Ozone friendly stuff is R134a.
It`s not as good as r-12. You`ll notice the difference when it`s really hot.
The best thing you can do to reduce this effect would be to tint with reflective solar tint. This will reduce the load and help keep it cooler.
The color of your truck will also have an effect on A/C performance.
What color was the old truck. I see the new one is a dark color.
I live in Kalifornia and buy white trucks to reduce heat retention in the cab.

Makes good sense, I always buy light colored vehicles for our never ending summers. They are predicting a hot one this year.
I've noticed my AC is now cooler on the drivers side than on the passengers.
I'm having some work done tomorrow and wonder if I should mention it.
I don't think they have any fix, do they???
I don't need anything else screwed up!
