Take a look at http://bodyguardbumpers.com . I love the BuckStop, but don't wanna drop 2K on a bumper so I'm buying a bodyguard next month.

Hi Banana

From you original question RoadArmors or Buckstops?
I say Buckstops by far.

IMO, Buckstop is one of the strongest bumpers out there. Equal to Warn and only surpass by Ruenell.

Like it was said before (thank you Boz007), this is the one I like:

I would say they are both good choices.

I ended up with a buckstop, got a deal on it.

I like the bumpers from Hanson Enterprise. I'm not sure if they're still making bumpers for fullsize pickups or if they're just doing Jeep stuff now, though. The Denver Off Road bumpers are cool looking too.

Can I just use the existing wiring harness from the stock fog lights to run the ones in the new bumper?

I don't think you can, but I'm not sure. I think the PIAA lights draw more power...I think.

You'll melt the OEM wiring harness. Use the OEM wiring to trigger a relay and run minimum 14 ga wire.

I went with Buckstop. Good bumper...but the powder coat can't take the test of time (or New Jersey Turnpike trucks throwing rocks at it I guess).

These were taken a few months ago it doesn't look that bad as it does today. Maybe I'll snap another pic today to show how many rust spots there are and how the powder coat is flaking off.

Bumper was put on in summer of 2006 so it hasn't seen that much use, IMO.

I love the concept and strength of this bumper .... but the powder coat just stinks for durability. Probably be the same for other mfg if they use powder coat.

(look in my gallery - link below - for higher res pics)

You can mount a relay anywhere - it may be difficult to get 14 ga wire into the fuse box even if there is an open spot. I have 8 relays (2 aren't currently used), + wireless receiver, + fuse block, so I did this:
