Need New Ball Joints on 4x4 Front End

What's the best ball joints to get that will hold up the best?
The front end is new territory for me on my 2006 with 81K on the vehicle.
Any help or suggestions and "what not to do" would be greatly appreciated by me and my wallet.

I have Dynatrac balljoints installed on mine for the past year and half. I have about 25K miles on them and they have been great. They are among the best.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....If you have cash for Dynatracs or Carlis then by all means, go for it!!! If not, my cheapo XRF's so far, coupled with the '08+ steering upgrade, have proved flawless after almost 10k miles.

They come with a lifetime guarantee so if you can afford the down time then it's well worth your $$$$!!!!

Hey bigdave, did you try and hold XRF to their "lifetime warranty?"

I don't know. I installed them myself. They were the non greaseable ones and if I remember right were dry when we removed them. I didn't install the set that is in it now, didn't have time and the truck was in the shop for some other things and the mechanic discovered they were loose. I had noticed the tires wearing funny too. I never sent them in for warrenty. Kinda forgot about it and wasnt going to put another set of them in anyway.

I installed the Napa ball joints. They are made by Dynatrac.
Thanks for all the suggestions and help!

NAPA told you their bj's are a product of Dynatrac? I'd contact Dynatrac for confirmation.

Yep, I am pretty certain Dynatrac is not producing ball joints for Napa.
