build date location

i have looked and guess i dont know where to look. where is the build date on tmy truck. 06 3500 megacab.

Look inside the door frame on the drivers side.

Engine build date is on the drivers side of the valve cover

crawl under the truck and look at all the tags (wheels/axle/drive shaft/transmission/etc.) and you will get all their build dates as well.
My '06 2500 has build dates on individual components ranging from 8/05 to 10/05 with the final date for end assembly on the door of 11/05.
