thats right
I left Ford though Id been with them for a long time
I gotta say I LOVE this truck. Its bigger, meaner, smoother and sharper than any other truck on the market. No wonder Dodge has grown to be such a big part of the truck market in recent years! Im glad to be aboard guys

I still have work to do on the truck
Spray on bedliner, tool box, seat covers, brake control box, light grey cab lights, for starters

Lusting for '06 2500 QC LB 4wd
I was at a local dealer here in San Diego and admiring an '06 handshaker on the lot. MSRP was $43,000 and change, employee pricing ended up being $34,953 or close to it. Big Horn, the works. It's at Hine Dodge and seems like a no bicker good discount. I was on the freeway today and a 3rd. gen ripped by me like I was standing still. I definitely have 3rd.gen envy.

When I ordered our new '06 3500 SRW, I did not put cab lights on it. I didn't know a 3500 w/o lights was so rare. My understanding was that duallies MUST have them (dot law), and it's optional on everything else. I omitted them simply because I can't see how they'd really do anything for me, and they are a potential water leak. Lack of water leaks is why I also speced it without any type of sliding rear window. This truck is really pretty unusual for my area-it has the snowplow package, and I live in AL. You can't even ORDER that here from what I've seen at my local dealer-we bought our truck from Dave Smith in Idaho. The other real oddity is the fact that I had rubber floormat installed vs carpet, and it's not a stripped-down work truck.

DRW, because of width, are required to have them...That's also why the tail gate has the light bar on it....Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
That's why they are be optional on SRW trucks.
