Anybody out there had experince with these Tires, I am looking to get a set put on from Firestone here mounted balanced ,and with A life Time Front End Alingment program for $1300.00 Total. ( Bridestone Dueler AT Revo Tires Tire Size is : 285--70--17 Supposed to equate out to close to 33,s in Size Just a Tad smaller. Looks like they Really handle nice on the Road.

I just purchased a Set- of Four Brand New Pro-Comp
Xtreme Terrains 3-Ply Size: 35" 12:50,s That I am going to Sell. From 4-wheeler, I accidentally ordered the wrong tires, and tried them out for about 10-miles and decided I wanted smaller more Street orianted Tires. going with a 285-70-17 Dueler AT Revo They do not look quite as Cool but oh Well.

 

I have been running a set in stock size 265-70-17 for last year. I am happy with all aspects of tire, not a mud tire but handles pastures and back roads o.k. With 25k on tires they are showing wear, may not last to 40000. I paid approx $900 for the set mounted and balanced.

Are the 285's "E" rated?

 

I have been running Revos for over a year on my Mega cab.
They are an excellent all around tire. They have great wet / dry traction, and are awesome in the snow. The do wear a little faster than some tires. But that is the trade off for a tire that has excellent traction throughout its life.
I paid $875 for my set mounted.

 

I Ran a set of LT285-75-R16 Load range "D" Revo's on My old 96 2500 v-10 4x4 ex cab LB and loved them. I did a ton of business with a local tire shop while working at United Rentals and the revo's were highly recomended. Excelent all around tire. I asked about the shoter life on mine and it is because the tread is made out of a single compound for the whole depth of the tread, which allows the traction characteristics to be closer to "like new" at the end of thier life. Most LT truck tires have a dual compound construction in the tread, where the outer most layer is a softer compound, and as they wear down, you get into a harder compund which gives them longer life. If I recall I paid around $700 total for tires mount and balance, because they sold me the tires at cost because of all the business I did with them.

I like them.

I switched to stock size "E" load range rated A/T Revos looking for sidewall and puncture protection (rock bruising/mesquite thorns). On my second set. They hold up very well except the tread is pretty much chewed up after 9 months (17k miles). Good on the highway.

Any tire won't last a year here on the ranch.

 

I have the revos on my suburban, I also had them on my old 1/2 ton QC hemi, they are one of the top 5 tires available (IMHO).
I'm running Pirelli scorpion ATR's (265 70 17 "E" load) right now and like them alot, they cost a little less (80-100 $'s), but I will probably get the revos next time I need tires. I think 1300 is a little high the scorps were under 900 balance, road hazard, tax etc.....

 

I have run two sets in 265/75/16e. I love that tire. I got 55 and 58k out of each set. The only place they didnt do well was in the gooey mud. Possibly one of the best tires I have ever run. Unfortunately I need a little more in the mud area. I switched to toyo m55's. When they are used up I may very well switch back to the revos and just be more careful in the mud. The m55s are good in the mud but are noisy as heck and I just plain ol dont like the noise.
I got my revos from costco for 175ea + tax about 2.5 years ago. Not sure if they still can get them or not but they far and away had the best price at the time.

 

Both of my trucks have Revo's on them, I agree with the others they are a great tire. Unfortunately Costco doesn't carry Bridgestone anymore too bad too they were the best for price....

I'd highly recommend them ! Ive had them on my F250 ,and CRD . They are great in the snow and ice that We get from time to time here . They are vastly superior to the OEM tires that came on either vehicle .
