Body Work has started!

Well if you recall, I get hit by a Ford Pickup last month and the truck is now at the autobody shop.
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=231972

The shop working on the truck is part of Allied Auto Watch and they have a site where they upload pictures of my truck during the repair process. so here is the progress so far...

Probably not, look inside the area where the taillights should be, see the red? that's the base coat. Looks like it just got new skins, not the main inner structure. Also look at the side rails, there is the mounting hardware for the bed cover.

correct they just replaced the outside skin of the bed on the drivers side and the tail gate. Total so far is at $5625.37. STill need to have the bed Line-X'd repaired..could be over $6000 in the end.

Holy Cow, that's a lot of dough! A semi at work backed into the rear passenger side cab of my truck damaging the door and rear corner of the cab. My repair shop cut out the damaged section of the cab, welded in a donor section, replaced the door and some minor non reusable parts and repainted. You can't tell the difference from the original unless you look really close at a tiny area under the rear window. Took about 3 weeks and only cost my employer about $3600. I didn't think to document the repair process but did take some pictures of the damage before the repair started.
