Question Blue Tec information

does anyone know much about these diesels? like how much or if anything they add to the mpg and what other benefits they have besides running cleaner? i know the mercedes benz implemented the Blue Tec and for a cleaner diesel but i wanted to see what they did to the cummins and what years they are found in the rams?

thanks nick

They started in 2007 1/2 when they changed to the 6.7L Cummins which is basically a 5.9 with a few mods and all the emissions crap on them.

I'm not real familiar with the whole Blue Tech thing but I thought it was just the emissions equipment that have been added to the engine. And they do not add ANY mpg. They get worse mpg now.
