Better engine for long distance

Found a 2022 1500 3.6 L engine online. Only considering buying this truck because it has low miles and it’s a good price. Was just wondering if the 5.7 or the 3.6 is a better engine for driving a decent ways. I drive about 3 hours one direction just about every weekend. Not always towing but occasionally

I cant speak for those engine specifically, but a dodge 3.7 vs 5.7 story. (2005 jeep vs 2010ish ram 1500) When the 5.7 notches into the cylinder de-activation mode, its fuel consumption drops below the V6 level. Over the whole routine 3-4hr trip, we found they would use the same fuel.
