Best place and price to buy 08 steering upgrade for my 2007 3500 megacab

I have a 2007 3500 4wd megacab, and I have a bad tie rod that goes to the pitman arm. I am looking for the place price and place to buy the upgrade kit. I need it asap, The dealers in Las Vegas are a big rip off. Thanks for the help.

Try this link first and do a search and go from there http://globalchryslerjeepdodgeparts1...layCatalogid=0 I'm not sure how much of the steering gear you can get aftermarket but I have been able to get Moog parts that match the updated 2008-2011 parts. Search for my post on "outer tierod end ball stud fracture for more info. Good Luck!

Sorry the link I gave you is broken. But if you look up the thread I cited it works from there. I'm not very computer savvy. You should be able to find links in threads on this site for the updated steering package as well. I'm sure others who have purchased will chime in mine was replaced under warranty at a ***********.

you can try these links too. If you go with the new upgrade you need the need pitman arm and the new stabilizer shock set up because it mounts differently.

I got mine from source auto www.sourceautomotive.biz/shop/index.php? They also install zirc fittings on the upgraded steering, as far as I know, the others do not. Good prices as well.

I spoke to a few people and they said you don't need a pitman arm. I purchased a skyjacker stabilizer part #7013, for $50 from the local 4 wheel parts. I ordered the steering from Parks Motors Dodge in Augusta,KS. Below is the part numbers and prices. These are the same part numbers I was told I needed. If I am missing something please let me know.

Ordered Items:
Item Detail Part# Qty Price Total
STEERING-STEERING 52122362AG 1 $ 245.70 $ 245.70
NUT-HEX LOCK 6505623AA 3 $ 1.35 $ 4.05

The new pitman arm is different than your original arm. It has an improved angle to line everything up using the new suspension parts. Its not totally necessary but it was designed to work with the new set-up.

If you change your mind and want to use it, PM me cuz I'll be removing mine
this week-end to add the new PSC delphi (4th gen) steering gear, larger pitman arm, and PSC sector shaft adapter.
